Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the broad themes in Information Technology. Use and apply current technical concepts and practices in the core information technologies of ITPM, Web Technology and Data Warehousing, and Data Mining. Provide deep knowledge in Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Forensics, and Artificial Intelligence. Information Systems Research Methodology and Tools & Techniques for Research. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the IT methodologies and frameworks used to solve complex computing problems related to at least one Project. Identify and analyze user needs and take them into account in the selection, creation, evaluation and administration of computer data systems. Effectively integrate Web-based solutions into the user environment. Develop and implement skills in Digital Marketing, Cyber Security and Forensics and Artificial Intelligence OR Academic Research. Take on leadership positions and/or embark on IT career in the field. Collaborate in diverse team environments to make positive contributions in the IT field. Work effectively in the IT field to make a positive contribution to society.
ENTRY CRITERIA
General Criteria
A related Bachelor’s Degree OR A related Graduate Diploma at Level 8
Alternative Criteria
25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant experience (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 5 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program OR * 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years of relevant experience (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 6 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program
