This course aims to build the knowledge and competencies required for primary teachers in key learning areas of the Maldives National Curriculum. Students will develop the professional skills needed to increase their pupils’ knowledge and competences as required by the national Primary Curriculum. Additionally, this course is developed as a foundation programme for those looking to advance to higher degrees in primary teaching.
ENTRY CRITERIA
General Criteria
Successful completion of Lower Secondary Education (O’ level 3 pass – C grade or above) OR Attainment of a Level 3 qualification.
Alternative Criteria
18 years old and 1 year work experience AND Ability to communicate in the language of instruction. (English)
